USC athletics has had a good relationship with the number 50 this season. Football left it hanging on the Coliseum scoreboard as the season ended against UCLA and now tennis superstar Steve Johnson has extended his winning streak to a ridiculous 50 consecutive matches.

Johnson chalked up a singles point (6-2, 6-1) to lead No. 1 men's tennis over No. 20 Texas A&M and break the Aggies 43-match home winning streak. The milestone man has won 50 straight collegiate matches, while the Trojans extended their dual match winning dominance to 37 consecutive victories.

USC men's tennis is next in action Monday against Florida at Marks Stadium.
