Joe Barry, who coached the linebackers at USC the past two years, will assume the same position for the San Diego Chargers next season, the NFL franchise officially announced today.
Before joining Lane Kiffin's staff, Barry worked as a defensive assistant in the NFL for a decade. He played at Troy as an inside linebacker in 1992 and 1993.
Kiffin now needs to fill two open coaching positions - defensive backs and linebackers - this offseason.
