USC All-American and Philadelphia Eagles DT Mike Patterson will undergo offseason brain surgery to fix a tangling of blood vessels and arteries, known as an AVM, which caused him to have a seizure during training camp.
"I still have one more doctor to check out, but I'm going to get something done," said Patterson, who played in 15 games this season. "We'll see. I'm not nervous at all about it. I felt like, for me personally, it's not as big a deal as it seems to be to other people. It's a quick procedure and I'll be back."
The rehab could take anywhere from one to six months. Click here for the full story.
"I have nothing to worry about, as long as I get it taken care of so I can come back out and play," he said.
