The Women of Troy are led by 2011 National Swimmer of the Year Katinka Hosszu who is the school record holder in both the 200y IM (1:52.71) and the 400y IM (3:58.86). She also won the gold medal in the 400m IM at the World Championships in 2009 and took bronze that same year in the 200m IM.
Hosszu will face steep competition in both races this weekend from Cal's Caitlin Leverenz and Stanford's Maya Dirado. The trio account for the NCAA's top three ranked swimmers in the 400y IM and three of the top four in the 200y IM.
