LT Matt Kalil and G/C Khaled Holmes made the preseason list for the Outland. They are USC's only two returning offensive line starters.
The Pac-12 had nine of the 65 names with the Big Ten leading the way. Defensive ends are not eligible for this award.

In 1967, Ron Yary won USC's only Outland Award. He was a two-time All-American offensive tackle who went on to be the first overall pick in the 1968 draft.
T.J. McDonald's strong spring forced his name onto the Nagurski Watch List of 87 defensive standouts.
A Trojan has never won the award. The Pac-12 ranked fifth among conferences with nine names on the Nagurski list.
