Former USC pitcher Pat Gillick was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame at Cooperstown yesterday for his 27 years as a major league baseball general manager.

The Philadelphia Daily News recapped his momentous day as the World Series winning retired Phillies GM was saluted at a celebratory party.
