Barkley and Woods are two of 66 student-athletes that have drawn national attention from the Maxwell Football Club. The Pac-12 has 11 players on the list, which ranks second behind the SEC's 12.
While the Maxwell list is comprised entirely of quarterbacks, running backs and receivers, they also announced the Chuck Bednarik Award watch list, which names the early frontrunners for national defensive player of the year.
USC safety T.J. McDonald was one of 65 players named.
