The Trojans made the NCAA tournament last year largely because they scored quality wins over Texas and Tennessee before league play. The bar will be raised even higher this season as USC seeks a fifth NCAA berth in the last six years.
Galen Center will play host to showdowns against Kansas, Georgia, TCU, Nebraska and New Mexico. Returning guards Jio Fontan and Maurice Jones will be expected to steady the Trojans in hostile road atmospheres at San Diego State, UNLV and Minnesota.
Over Thanksgiving, USC could face likely preseason #1 North Carolina in the Las Vegas Invitational.
And in conference, the Trojans host every Pac-12 team except the Oregon schools. USC trips to every opponent save for Utah and Colorado.Â
