Six football camps for high school and elementary school players conducted by USC head coach Lane Kiffin and his staff--including Ed Orgeron and Monte Kiffin--will be held in June on the USC campus.
The Mario Danelo Kicking Academy, established in honor of the late USC record-setting kicker Mario Danelo for placekickers, punters and snappers who will be seventh graders to high school seniors as of the 2011 fall season. It will be held on June 10 and will be led by ex-NFL kicker Joe Danelo, Mario's father.
The USC Offensive and Defensive Line Camp, open to linemen who will be freshmen through seniors in high school during the 2011 fall season, is set for June 11.
The USC Skill Positions Camp, for quarterbacks/receivers/running backs/tight ends/linebackers/defensive backs who will be in freshmen through seniors in high school during the 2011 fall season, will be held on June 12.
The USC 7 On 7 Passing Camp, for high school teams aiming to develop offensive and defensive passing game skills, will be June 18. High school coaches should contact the USC Football Office at (213) 740-4204 or email sathomps@usc.edu to enroll their team.
The USC Rising Stars Camp, for high school sophomores, juniors and seniors in the 2011 fall season who plan on playing at the collegiate level, is available for both overnight and day campers on June 22 and 23.
The USC "Trojans In Training" Camp--available for players from third grade through eighth grade as of the 2011 fall season--will be held June 25.
All camps will be conducted on Howard Jones/Brian Kennedy Fields, the on-campus practice fields for the USC football team.
All campers will receive a USC Football Camp t-shirt and a meal.
