Trojan Horses

With the USC/UCLA dual meet coming up Sunday at Troy, the Trojans and Bruins paid tribute to past greats at yesterday's Hall of Fame luncheon.

The "Trojan Horse" Quincy Watts led the 10-athlete class alongside his legendary coach Jim Bush and 4-time 100 meter NCAA champion Angela Williams (photo).

At Bush's urging, Watts switched from a short sprinter to the 400 meters, which is the distance at which he would take home Olympic gold at the 1992 games. Williams was the only athlete ever to win the 100 at nationals in all four collegiate seasons.

Also inducted into the dual meet Hall of Fame, Felix Sanchez, Jack Davis and Ryan Wilson went in together as a trio of Trojan hurdlers.
