Former USC shortstop Grant Green has been selected to the U.S. roster for the All-Star Futures Game, a matchup of top minor league prospects played the Sunday before the Major League All-Star Game.
This year's Futures game is July 11 in Anaheim, featuring the U.S. versus the World teams composed of 25-man rosters.
Green is batting .320 with five home runs and 30 RBI for the Stockton Ports of the California League, the Single A affiliate for the Oakland Athletics.
