The players speak glowingly of new head strength and conditioning coach Aaron Ausmus.
Looks like it's a reciprocal relationship.
With the winter offseason program just past its halfway point and with about four weeks until Spring Practice begins, Ausmus gave a very positive mini midterm review of the work he's been seeing from his players in the month he's been at USC:
"The biggest thing I'm loving is the energy of the players," Ausmus said. "We're trying to bring high-intensity energy to the program and take advantage of each day. We're fine-tuning basic movements and getting technique down, and we've been teaching concepts and showing how and why it's helping them.
"It's been a great transition. Day-in and day-out, we're trying to help them maximize their potential, and they've responded very well."
