Safety T.J. McDonald was named the Pac-10 Defensive Player of the Week for his performance against Arizona State.
McDonald, a sophomore, had a game-high 13 tackles in USC's 34-33 win over Arizona State and he blocked a punt. He also partially blocked another punt and downed a third punt at the ASU 4-yard line.
McDonald tops USC in tackles (68) and interceptions (3) in 2010.
He is the third Trojan to win Pac-10 Football Player of the Week honors in 2010, following quarterback Matt Barkley (versus California) and placekicker Joe Houston (versus California).
Joining McDonald as Pac-10 Players of the Week this week were Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck and UCLA placekicker Kai Forbath.
