USC Heads To Wildcat Diving Invitational

USC divers return to action this weekend in Arizona at the third annual Wildcat Diving Invitational, Friday through Sunday (Nov. 19-21).
Some 18 schools and close to 90 divers will compete at the Michael Kasser Pool in the Hillenbrad Aquatic Center. The list of school attending include host Arizona, Arizona State, Boise State, Buffalo, BYU, Fresno State, Hawaii, Nevada, New Mexico, Northern Arizona, San Diego State, San Jose State, USC, Stanford, UC San Diego, Utah, Wisconsin and Wyoming.
Trojan divers set to compete are seniors Steven Starks and Greg Miller, juniors Victoria Ishimatsu and Harrison Jones and sophomore Ariel Rittenhouse.
Jones and Ishimatsu are coming off of dual-meet action last week when both swept the springboard events in USC's contests against Arizona and Arizona State. Jones also swept all three boards at the Trojan Diving Invitational while Ishimatsu won the springboard events.
On Friday, the men's 3-meter and women's 1-meter springboard competitions will be held with a preliminary/ quarterfinal round in the morning, followed by consolations and a final event in the afternoon.
Saturday will follow the same schedule as Friday only reversed for men's and women's events. On Sunday, platform events will be conducted with the option of utilizing platform heights of 5, 7.5 or 10 meters.
