It was a tale of two halves against the Fullerton Titans this evening:
- During the first half, CSUF had an answer for almost every Trojan obstacle. Though USC never trailed, it was clear they weren't performing to their potential shooting around 44.4 percent in the first half. Maurice Jones only had four points in the first half while "Trojan Tower" Nikola Vucevic had trouble in the post missing several easy layups.

- In the second half, the Trojans jumped ahead and never looked back. First off, USC's shooting improved to 60.7 percent in the second half. When the damange was done, USC's freshman phenom led all scorers with 20 points and 5 assists. Alex Stepheson finished the game with a double-double despite being in constant pain from a broken hand. By the time the game ended, there wasn't a single starter left on the Galen Center hardwood.

- Looking ahead to the weekend in Nebraska and beyond, Head Coach Kevin O'Neill is putting the emphasis on defense firmly believing that as long as this team continues to improve on the big D they will always be in it at the end of the game no matter what. He applauded the toughness of his injured senior foward and his freshman trio of Mo Jones, Bryce Jones and Garrett Jackson who played extensive minutes tonight, but still feels that toughness is something this team could take to the next level.
Here's the Player of the Game, Maurice Jones, with his opinion on his team's first half struggles, what made the difference and spending Thanksgiving with his new Trojan Family in Nebraska:
