Here are some surprising stats from the Trojans' 56-3 win on Saturday at the Coliseum:

The defense gave up nine rushing yards and only 121 total offensive yards. USC, conversely, had 620 total yards of offense.
The Spartans averaged just 2.0 yards per play, while the Trojans gained an average of 9.1 yards per play.
The Trojans scored 56 unanswered points after being shut out 3-0 in the first quarter.
After the Spartans scored their only points of the game in the first quarter, the Trojans locked them down, holding them to just 80 yards in the final 13 drives.
The Trojans scored touchdowns on six consecutive drives between the second and third quarters.
