Injury update on Barkley, Mays

Further tests have revealed that Matt Barkley has a bruised right shoulder and safety Taylor Mays has a mild right knee sprain, Coach Carroll said this afternoon.

Carroll said Barkley "will be OK" and both he and Mays are expected to practice this week in anticipation of Saturday's Pac-10 opener at Washington.
