Not only is today Competition Tuesday, it's also Media Day for the Trojans.
An onslaught of radio, TV and print interviews will take place throughout the day, a weekly in-season occurrence for the coaches and players. Coach Carroll has started it off with a conference call with reporters from around the Pac-10 right now, and his weekly press conference will be at noon in Varsity Lounge. That's followed by radio and TV interviews that'll take him and select players right up to the afternoon block of meetings, beginning at 2:15 p.m.
All in all, it's an exhausting stretch of interviews for Carroll, who must wear two hats today -- football coach and ambassador.
