Because the team isn't restricted by conference traveling rules, the Trojans are taking 92 players to the hotel tonight, nearly the entire roster. For in-conference games, USC is limited to traveling only 64 players (taking them to the hotel for home contests and bringing them on the road for away games).
Coaches are toting so many players to the hotel tonight to give them the pre-game experience, since many of those coming tonight are freshmen or walk-ons who have not been through the routine yet.
