You probably don't know what went into the shoot, though.
Carroll, Herbstreit and a 50-person production crew descended on Carroll's Heritage Hall office on June 9, spending nearly all morning filming 12 takes for two different commercial plots, along with bonus material that's online. The produced commercial spot is about Herbstreit asking Carroll for the building's bathroom key, while the unused ad was about Herbstreit pestering Carroll until they could leave work and go to lunch.
Two fun facts about the shoot: A scissor lift was set up outside of Carroll's second-floor office and two massive stage lights shined through the windows to provide artificial bright sunlight on a cloudy morning in L.A.; and construction at the adjacent School of Cinematic Arts was halted for about a half-hour while the commercial was being taped in Carroll's office, which allowed for silence during the shoot.
