For more than one reason, it's a funky week for the Trojans.
The weirdness is starting today, because of Labor Day. Players don't have class but they do have workouts, meetings and practice. And then because the team leaves for Ohio State on Thursday evening, it's making for a very short week at USC. Tuesday and Wednesday will be the only "normal" days, with Thursday's meetings and practice being bumped up 90 minutes to accommodate the travel schedule. The team will then have a short practice on Friday morning in Columbus before conducting a walk-thru at Ohio Stadium that evening.
And then USC's '09 road opener at Ohio State will be at 8 p.m. Eastern time on Saturday night.
