Practice doesn't start until tomorrow, but the trash talk has already commenced.
Linebackers coach Ken Norton Jr. and fullback Stanley Havili engaged in some playful banter in the dorm lobby this morning, reigniting the fullback-linebacker rivalry after a summer of dormancy.
"You're not going to want to run 'bob' tomorrow," Norton said to Havili, talking about a running play that would match the fullback and one of Norton's linebackers on a big-time block.
"Yeah, whatever," Havili said with a smile.
