It was self-empowerment time during tonight's team meeting.
In one of his trademark from-the-heart, spur-of-the-moment philosophy speeches, Coach Carroll talked about the unlimited potential each player has as long as they stay dedicated to the calling -- a thought best encapsulated in his "Always Compete" poem written in 2007.
"No one can stop you but you -- you control it," a passionate Carroll told his players during the 10-minute address. "You have all the power. Call on yourself -- don't hold back now."
