Tonight's team meeting quickly turned into a meeting all about tomorrow.
As in the first day in full pads for the Trojans.
"We need to maximize what full speed football is all about," Coach Carroll told the players in a cramped Heritage Auditorium tonight.
The Wednesday afternoon practice, set to begin at 3 p.m. on Howard Jones Field, will be the first time USC has donned full pads since the spring game on April 25, a span of 109 long days. Needless to say, the players and coaches are itching for the heavy-hitting practice to come.
"Let's be ready to go tomorrow," offensive coordinator John Morton told the offense tonight. "Let's be ready to dominate."
