As the annual camp grind marches on, one thing always gets lost in the shuffle.
A normal person's sense of time and days.
Because the training camp schedule tends to be the same over and over, the days start blending together, creating a strange phenomenon that's a mix between jetlag and insanity. Add to it that there's no weekend or days off to break up the grind and the most common question you'll hear during the 16-day camp from players and coaches is, "What day is it?"
But when the clueless are answering the clueless, the response is typically crafted by a few questions and a white flag: "Monday? Wednesday? I have no idea."
"It's all a mishmash of days," defensive coordinator Rocky Seto said.
