Wearing just helmets this morning, the Trojans are taking the field for their opening practice of the day, the first time in 2009's camp where they're not starting off the morning with a football-less walk-thru.
"We don't have a little walk-thru this morning -- we've got real, live practice," Coach Carroll excitedly said during the early-morning staff meeting. "We get to bring out the footballs!"
