Fullback Adam Goodman, the only married player on the USC roster, has had to leave his wife Jessica and newborn baby boy Elijah and move into the dorms along with his teammates for Fall Camp 2009. The players are in the dorms for only 10 nights, but that can feel like an eternity for a new father, whose first child was born June 14.
But Goodman is keeping things in perspective. For his first training camp as a Trojan in 2007, he had gotten married just months before.
"Even though it's hard now, it's easier than my first camp," the 22-year-old senior said. "We were just married and everything was crazy the first time here."
Goodman's wife and son have been coming up to watch practice and eat dinner with him every other day so far during camp. And he has another memento on hand to constantly remind him of his family.
"I got a picture of them up in my locker and in my dorm," a smiling Goodman said.

Adam Goodman, a senior fullback for the Trojans, has had a unique challenge during Fall Camp, as he is separated from his wife and newborn son for the better part of two weeks.
