Dog days of summer

Just in time for the season to move to the front burner, the weather is heating up in L.A. this week.

Temperatures are climbing into the high-80s and then over 90 by Thursday, giving the Trojans their first taste of summer heat after a cooler-than-normal training camp during the last three weeks.
