Now, it might want to officially add a third -- the Jeff Byers track.
Byers, a sixth-year senior offensive lineman, is just three units shy of earning his MBA, which will give him a bachelor's and master's degree in just 5½ years at USC. That's a stunning accomplishment for any student, much less an All-Pac-10 football player.
Having truly made the most of his opportunity at USC, Byers will be able to concentrate almost entirely on football this fall. But with only one class, what exactly is he going to do with all his time?
"I'm going to get my MBA and be the best football player I can be," said Byers, who will turn 24 next month. "I'm going to study my opponent like nothing else -- know every blitz, every stunt."
