Television awards might have a USC flair this fall.
The December 2008 "60 Minutes" feature on Coach Carroll's work with USC and A Better LA has been nominated for an Emmy Award, a monumental honor for the TV show, Carroll and A Better LA.
The 12-minute segment is one of five nominees for an Emmy in the feature story in a news magazine category. The winner will be announced in a ceremony on Sept. 21 in New York.
