RipsIt reader Alfredo Guitron e-mailed in a question for Coach Carroll concerning his thoughts on the NFL's future place in Los Angeles.
And Carroll is not at a lack of opinion on the subject.
"There should be an NFL team in L.A. -- no doubt," Carroll said. "The people here deserve to have the NFL experience. That doesn't mean I think I know how it should go, but there are so many people here and it only takes 70,000 people in the stadium to support a team."
And when it comes to a potential NFL team encroaching on the Trojans' territory in the L.A. market?
"I'm not worried about it threatening USC -- college football is a totally different fan experience than the NFL," Carroll said, before cracking a smile. "Bring 'em on."
