Energy is bursting out of Heritage Hall this morning.
The Trojans kicked off today's meetings with a rambunctious pump-up session that included signing, chanting and dancing, with players calling each other out one-by-one to get up and do a jig at the front of the auditorium.
And even Coach Carroll got into the action when players began chanting, "Do the Trojan!" You see, "the Trojan" is the name the players have given to a funky youthful dance Carroll performs occasionally during meetings and after wins.
It goes without saying, but Sunday is off to a rowdy and fun start at USC.
