The low-post presence of USC proved to be too much for Idaho St., as the Trojan big man combo of Alex Stepheson and Nikola Vucevic combined for 21 points, 24 rebounds and 9 blocked shots. USC set a team-record on the night with 13 blocks. Combined with Dwight Lewis pouring in 19 points from the outside, USC was able to hold off a late second-half run by Idaho State, and come away with the 59-53 victory.
This win gives the Trojans their first back-to-back wins on the season. USC will host No. 3 Tennessee next Saturday, Dec 19th, at the Galen Center.
