After giving up the lead, 38-36, with 12:36 remaining the Trojans have stretched their lead back to double digits 55-45, with two minutes remaining. Defensive pressure has allowed the Trojans to force turnovers, and in turn fast break points.
Marcus Johnson just fouled out of the game with 2:01 remaining . He finished with 10 points, 5 rebounds, 4 steals, 2 blocks, and two assists. Donte Smith replaces Johnson on the floor down the stretch for the USC.
