The Trojans were back on the practice court today in preparation for Saturday's game against ninth-ranked Tennessee at the the Galen Center. The Trojans are coming off of a 59-53 win over Idaho State, while Tennessee defeated Middle Tennessee State by 21 points in their last contest,75-54. Tennessee has only one loss on the season, that coming at the hands of the Purdue Boilermakers on November 23rd, defeating the Volunteers, 73-72. The Trojans know that they will have their hands full and are eagerly awaiting the challenge.
Dwight Lewis in particular, is one player that is anxiously awaiting the challenge. Head Coach Kevin O'Neill believes Lewis has strung together his best two games of the season in for two contests. The Trojans will have tomorrow off before two more hard days of practice leading up to Saturday's much anticipated match-up against the University of Tennessee. Tip off is Saturday at 1:30 PM PST.
