High ratings for Emerald Bowl

The Emerald Bowl received a 5.34 television rating, the second-highest mark for an ESPN-televised bowl game ever. The Dec. 26 matchup between USC and Boston College was also the most watched Emerald Bowl in the bowl's eight-year history.
