Final prep work in the Bay

SAN FRANCISCO -- With some more hotel logistics to cover this morning, director of football operations Matt Capurro will be wrapping up his advance planning trip for the Emerald Bowl during the next few hours. After discussing menu necessities for USC's dozen full-scale buffet meals, room arrangements and other hotel-related details with the staff of the team's San Francisco headquarters leading up to the Dec. 26 game, Capurro will then be on a plane back to L.A. early this afternoon -- with essentially all the preparation for the Emerald Bowl complete, thanks to this 24-hour whirlwind trip to the Bay.
