The Trojans ran out of steam down the stretch and dropped tonight's game 59-67, against Loyola Marymount University. USC gave up 42 second half points to the Lions, after holding LMU to just 25 points on 8-24 shooting in the first twenty minutes of play.
The momentum of the game shifted early in the 2nd half after Junior forward, Kasey Cunningham went down with a knee injury. Cunningham did not return and has an MRI scheduled for Monday. The Trojans fall to 1-1 on the season with this loss and will resume practice Monday at 3:00pm.
