Introducing Alex Stepheson. You might remember him when he prepped at local high school basketball powerhouse, Harvard-Westlake of North Hollywood. Now, his long awaited return to the court couldn't have come at a better time for the Trojans. After a year in waiting, and battling a nagging knee injury, Stepheson adds a physical presence and demeanor to USC's low-post game.
Entering the game at the ten minute mark, with the scored tied 10-10, Stepheson helped lead the Trojans on a 30-17 run before the half. He made an immediate impact, completing a three-point play and getting a huge block on the defensive end that sent the ball back across half court. Stepheson finished the half 3-4 from the field for 7 points, while grabbing 4 rebounds.
