The Trojans will be playing some football today as they continue to prepare for Saturday's UCLA game, and although they're working on a holiday, isn't what they're doing something most red-blooded Americans do on Thanksgiving anyway?
"If you were worth a lick as a kid, you played football on Thanksgiving with the family," a grinning Coach Carroll said during Wednesday's team meeting. "We get to play our own form of turkey ball on Thanksgiving this year."
Meetings will get started at 9 a.m. and practice is up at 11.
