New sod has been rolled out between the hashes on Howard Jones Field and is ready to go for this afternoon's practice, the team's first since last Friday. The fresh turf replaces the worn-down grass and dirt that had overtaken the heavily used parts of the practice field after more than three months of continuous wear-and-tear.
