With the loss officially in the rearview mirror and the future out ahead, the pedal is to the metal for the Trojans as the bye week rolls on closer to its end -- and the UCLA game inches closer by the minute.
"It's not time to do anything but keep charging," Coach Carroll said during this afternoon's team meeting. "Let's go -- we don't have a choice."
Though the team's next game isn't for another nine days, Carroll is ensuring the players' focus is on the next matchup by how they perform in each and every practice leading up to next Saturday.
"This is the battle for L.A.," he told the team. "We win this game by how we practice today, tomorrow and next week."
