Captain talk

Besides the four player-elected team captains (Jeff Byers, Damian Williams, Taylor Mays and Josh Pinkard), two other Trojans have been selected by coaches to serve as captains for the Stanford game. Tailback Curtis McNeal will represent the special teams and fullback Simione Vehikite, who played Stanford's Toby Gerhart in practice this week, will serve as the service team captain.
