A debate has been raging among the players over the past few weeks over which NBA superstar is the greatest of all-time -- Michael Jordan or Kobe Bryant. Tailback Joe McKnight has been lobbying teammates for Jordan, while fellow back Curtis McNeal has been campaigning for Bryant.
The heated, team-wide discussion reached a boiling point during this afternoon's team meeting when Coach Carroll showed a clip of Bryant's unbelievable behind-the-basket shot from Sunday night's Lakers game. McNeal rose up like a lawyer in court, with the video being his closing argument. The MJ-vs.-Kobe debate thundered on as Carroll watched with amusement.
