- USC will have played six road games in a nine-week span, with just two home games and a bye in between.
- To put things in perspective, it will take Notre Dame until Oct. 2, 2010 to play its sixth road game since the start of the 2009 season.
- The Trojans faced four ranked teams on the road this season. So far in 2009, the rest of the BCS Top 25 teams have played a combined total of 18 away games against ranked opponents, and only three other programs (Miami, Oklahoma and South Florida, each with two) have played more than one road matchup against a ranked foe.
- After this weekend's trip, the Trojans will have flown 12,404 roundtrip air miles for their six road trips, up 34 percent from the 9,196 air miles traveled in 2008.
