Along with four players who have already graduated, the USC football program is about to add 22 more college diplomas to its roster. Eleven players are on track to graduate this fall and then 11 more are on pace to earn their degrees in the spring.
"It's always a point of great pride for the program when our players are competing and excelling in the classroom," Coach Carroll said. "To earn a college degree is a tremendous accomplishment, and we're very proud of these players who achieve that milestone."
The current players who have already graduated -- defensive back Josh Pinkard (sociology), wideout Garrett Green (business), linebacker Nick Garratt (history) and offensive lineman Jeff Byers (business) -- will soon be joined by several more degree-carrying teammates.
