Coaches and players weren't the only ones dealing with the alarm clocks that rang at a disorienting hour this morning.
The athletic training staff, headed by Russ Romano, and its team of student trainers opened the training room before 5:30 a.m. and will be on duty throughout practice. The equipment staffers, featuring full-timers and a squadron of volunteer student equipment managers, clocked in bright and early this morning to fill players' requests and set up the practice field for the workout. And the video operations department, headed by Eric Espinoza and featuring a crew of student workers, started setting up to film practice at 5:30 a.m.
