The Trojans' charter flight departed LAX a little before 3 p.m. Pacific and landed at South Bend Regional Airport slightly before 10 p.m. Eastern time. The flight was uneventful, as players napped and watched movies on personal DVD players for the duration of the four-hour ride to northern Indiana, where 39-degree temperatures welcomed the team.
Then after an hour-long bus ride from South Bend and the Eastern time zone to Michigan City and the Central time zone, USC pulled into its team hotel a few minutes before 10 p.m. Central time. The Trojans will now call it a night, with bed check set for 10:30. Check out some photos from the trip:
