Protecting the homefront

Much has been made in the media this week about Oregon's daunting home-field advantage, and while Autzen Stadium is undoubtedly one of the loudest and most intimidating venues in the country, the Ducks' record at home doesn't compare to the Trojans' mark at the Coliseum.

It's not even close, actually.

By record alone, USC might have one of the best home-field advantages in the country. Take a look at how the recent home records for USC and Oregon compare:

Since 2002: USC is 44-1 at home; Oregon is 37-12 at home
Since 2001: USC is 48-3 at home; Oregon is 42-13 at home
This decade: USC is 50-8 at home; Oregon is 48-13 at home
