As the Trojans kick off a short week of practices with this afternoon's workout on Howard Jones Field, they're "subtly" introducing the Notre Dame game plan, as Coach Carroll said.
But the focus is less on the Irish and more on technique, details and fundamentals this week.
"This is not about Notre Dame or winning that football game," Coach Carroll said during this afternoon's team meeting, referring to the next four practices. "This is about you getting on the football field and competing to show how far you've come. Everyone's got somewhere to grow, so let's not miss this opportunity."
